AI-Generated Code

VizForge.ai uses artificial intelligence to generate source code for Power BI custom visuals. While our AI pipeline includes automated TypeScript type-checking and auto-repair for common Power BI SDK errors before delivery, generated code is provided "as-is" without any warranty, express or implied.

Specifically, we do not warrant that generated visuals will: (a) be free of errors or bugs; (b) perform optimally in all environments; (c) meet Microsoft AppSource certification requirements; (d) be compatible with all versions of Power BI Desktop or Power BI Service; (e) maintain compatibility after future Power BI updates.

You are responsible for testing, reviewing, and validating all generated code before deploying it in production environments.

Open Source SDK

Generated visuals use the Power BI Visuals SDK (powerbi-visuals-api), which is open source under the MIT License by Microsoft Corporation. Generated visuals also use D3.js (BSD license) and other open source libraries. By downloading and distributing generated visuals, you agree to comply with the applicable open source license terms.

Code Ownership and Copyright

AI-generated code may not qualify for traditional copyright protection under current laws in some jurisdictions, as copyright generally requires human authorship. VizForge.ai assigns all generated output to you, but we cannot guarantee that AI-generated code will receive copyright protection in every jurisdiction. We recommend consulting a legal professional if copyright ownership is critical to your use case.

AppSource Certification

VizForge.ai does not guarantee that generated visuals will pass Microsoft AppSource certification. The certification process has requirements including no external service calls, source code disclosure, accessibility compliance, and performance benchmarks that may require manual adjustments to generated code. Our Team plan includes certification preparation guidance, but final certification is at Microsoft's discretion.
